If it has to do with your financial situation, we stand ready to help you with it. Our personalized approach affords us the time to conduct thorough due diligence for our clients, to ensure you receive the best advice. If it’s something that is outside of our scope, we’ll provide guidance and bring in a trusted third-party expert.

A solid investment withdrawal strategy requires many considerations — including the sustainability of your nest egg, tax implications, and market risks. If you’re already taking distributions or would like to start, we’ll ensure this is done smartly and efficiently. If your withdrawal needs are further out in the future, we’ll develop a precise plan that avoids unwanted surprises.

Every year, we’ll engage in a proactive tax planning session. This will include an analysis of your most recent tax return, a review of key planning considerations, and a customized tax planning strategy. It also includes unlimited collaboration with your tax advisor, to ensure ongoing tax-efficiency. If you don’t have one, we’ll refer you to one.

We educate our clients on estate planning topics and partner with a qualified third-party software provider that can produce legal documents. Our third-party partner also has attorneys available to provide advice, if needed. Client will pay an additional fee to our third-party partner, as RWP is not qualified to create legal documents.

While estate planning focuses largely on what happens to your money when you’re gone, legacy planning is all about how people remember you. On an ongoing basis, we’ll have meaningful conversations about how you can use your wealth to maximize both your legacy and impact — not just when you’re gone, but while you’re still here.
Onboarding Process
This is the standard onboarding process. While it will be customized based on your needs, it will always be a 4-6 week process.
Week 1 - Goals Discussion
This will be to establish your most important goals. And you’ll also get a tour of our financial planning software (Right Capital). After this meeting, you'll work on getting all your data entered and we’ll work on establishing your initial financial blueprint.
Week 2 - Cash Flow Analysis
We’ll review your initial blueprint with you — focusing on your probability of success and long-term net worth projections. If there's a cash-flow deficit, we’ll provide you with an exercise intended to help you reduce your expenses (and we will pause the process until that is completed). If your expenses cannot be reduced, we will adjust your goals. If there's a surplus, we will move on to the next step.
Week 3 - Risk Analysis
Prior to this meeting, we’ll conduct a full risk analysis on your behalf. And during this meeting, we’ll review our recommendations for addressing those risks (including insurance recommendations).
Week 4 - Employee Benefits Planning
Prior to this meeting, we’ll conduct a full review of your employer's benefits. And during this meeting, we’ll provide our recommendations to maximize them.
Week 5 - Investment Setup
We’ll make recommendations on asset location, account consolidation, account titling, and beneficiary designations — and begin the process for initiating account transfers, if necessary. We'll also review the investment strategy to ensure you understand how your money is being invested (and why).
Ongoing
Once accounts have been set up and funded, we'll be ready to move to our regular quarterly update meetings. And we will address additional planning needs, as necessary. Of course, we’ll be available to you any time in between as well.
